ABOUT ME

Who I am and why I can help.

With a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications (BA Hons) I have always enjoyed the challenge of finding new methods of promotion, with a keen eye for detail, strong communication and quality of presentation.

My career to date has provided a real variety of tasks; having worked ‘in-house’ I’ve often had an endless ‘to-do’ list, so if you’re in the same boat, I can certainly empathise and the good news is, you’re not alone…I’m here to help.

The beauty of freelance marketing, and indeed working in-house for both B2B and B2C (service and product), along with reseller channels, is that I have the luxury of always having a new angle for promotion. Every new client sparks a creative idea, a different way of looking at the market with unknown and unlimited marketing potential.

I have in-depth and specialist knowledge of both the print industry and property market, thanks to my time as Marketing Manager at Large Format Print Reseller, printMAX and independent estate agents, Mackenzie Smith. Both companies have great heritage and a wonderful ethos, whilst they each have an entirely different marketplace, they each had associates (manufacturers and new homes developers) that required guardianship of brand guidelines – something I am well versed with.

As you might have guessed by now, given the fact that I left a fantastic job to go freelance; I love a challenge.


This rather dangerous approach has led to jumping out of aeroplanes, cave diving, bungy jumping, white water rafting and completing the London Marathon. In my training for the London Marathon, I was the local advocate of the This Girl Can campaign, along with raising £4,000 for The Mud House Children’s Foundation; a cause close to my heart which I continue to support through volunteer marketing activity.

Along with the marketing for The Mud House Children’s Foundation, I’m a strong believer of helping where and when you can, so support a number of charitable organisations, including The Little Festival in the Field, AODS and others.

Both professionally and personally, I’m what you might call a “joiner inner”, willing to throw myself in at the deep end to get results.
